Soul Jazz Records, Studio One Rockers… In my opinion the UK has some great record labels like Soul Jazz Records.
I had some ridiculous ideas about Brexit. One of them was that the Pound was going to lose a lot of value and then UK exports would be that much cheaper. Then these expensive UK releases would be much cheaper to buy and I would then be able to load up on a lot of these soul jazz reggae compilations.
I found this record used for a cheap price right after I moved to a new place. I couldn’t pass up a good deal even though I was still living out of boxes at the time. It has a lot of classic tracks…
