Antibalas, K-Leg/R.O.C, Purpose Records… so I was going through some records and for whatever reason I forgot about this one. The B-side (or the that side), is a song that is so good that you could listen to it first thing in the morning, every day, for the rest of your life…
When I tried to find a YouTube link for this record, I felt like a bit like an obscure person since I couldn’t find anything (shouldn’t youtube have everything?). From the Antibalas website, it is listed as: Out of Print. I tried finding it on a variety of legal music streaming sites and also couldn’t find it there. This one UK site once had it for sale but are sold out, however it has a 1 minute sample of it here… note that it seems that the sides are opposite to how they are listed (so you are going to have to click on R.O.C. to hear K-Leg).
I don’t know how but maybe it could be a funny non-linear combination of these two songs…
