Yussef Kamaal, Black Focus, Brownswood Recordings… One day I was driving on the Lodge in Detroit and ‘Yo Chavez’ came on the radio. When I parked my car I had to stay in and listen to the reset of the song.
I bought this album as a ‘birthday treat’ for myself a few years ago. It’s as good as you could hope it to be. I really wish I had more records like this one.
